UNLV Salary?

U.S.A. Nevada

Published

Hi all! How are you all doing? I am new to this site but am in need of some advice. My brother currently lives in Las Vegas and I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I am possibly looking to move there so he and I can be closer but I am weary as I work in the best area for Nurses. We have 5 to 1 ratios which is fabulous fellow Rn's and also the pay is GREAT! But moving is something I must consider. SO I was wondering about the environment in the hospitals in Vegas and staffing and salary etc. Could anybody help me out? Thankyou and I will return the favor if any of you are looking to work here in the BAY AREA.

I am still in nursing school, so I'm not sure about pay, but as I suggested to another poster looking to move from Cali, check out the newspaper online. Sometimes they list pay. Or you can check out individual hospitals online. They may also list pay.

(Las Vegas Review Journal-click on classifieds, then employment opps)

(St. Rose Hospitals-they have 2 with a 3rd in construction)

I don't know the other hospital websites, but just do a search for las vegas hospitals, and try to navigate from there.

Whooops. I got St Rose's website wrong. Its .com not .org

Here is a website I came across to help speed up your search.

http://www.theagapecenter.com/Hospitals/Nevada.htm

It lists all of the hospitals and clinics in Nevada (so make sure you notice if it is Las Vegas and Henderson areas). They have direct links on this page.
