hello there! im new to this! =)
I am currently attending a community college here in San Francisco and I will be applying for UNLVS pre-nursing major for fall of 2009. Since I will spend one year finishing up pre-reqs, I was curious if there is a waitlist from pre-nursing to the nursing program at UNLV. And i know its a point base system, I read the website and everything. like what is the cut off? or how does it work?
hows the BSN program? and is it an accelerated 16 months nursing program?
I appreciate all the responds!
Thank u.

Hi!! I'm sorry I can't actually answer your questions... but I realized that no one else has responded and I figured it this gets pushed to the top that maybe someone will be able to help you out! :)
I did have a friend/aquaintance who was accepted and started this fall. She applied while still finishing her pre-reqs (we did A&P 1 and 2 together). She was accepted before even finishing the second A&P. I know her GPA was really good...so I'm sure that helped her. But I don't know how their point system works (since it's different from the school I go to). Good luck!! I hope someone else has some answers for you!!

Hey.. since you applied for Fall 2009, I was wondering if you actually got admitted? How competitive was it?.. I will be going to UNLV in Spring2010, and will apply in the Summer... I hope to meet you there if it were, so I can ask you the same question you posted here. =D Im sure by this time you have all the answers..
Good Luck to you!
