UNLV FNP Fall 2017

Has anyone applied for the Fall 2017 cohort FNP program at UNLV (online)?

I haven't read much about the program here so if anyone has any information that they can provide it will be greatly appreciated.

My application is complete and I'm just in waiting mode.......I wonder when they begin sending out acceptance letters?

When I spoke with admissions they said we would hear a admission decision 3-4 weeks after interviews.

Do you happen to know how many applications they receive vs how many students they accept each year?

They told me this year they took some seats away from the masters program to have more seats in the dnp program. I believe they are excepting 25 applicants. I don't remember the total numbers of applicants. They also said if they feel you are a good candidate for the bsn-dnp program they will refer you there if they've run out of seats.

I was just accepted on 3/21 and accepted their offer. Initially was planning on Cincinnati, but I like the idea of campus visits for networking and meeting others.

Email.. then I called the admin assistant to confirm.
