university of west ga

Is there any one currently in the partime west ga nursing program? I would love some insight about the partime program. Iam a single mom and think this program would be perfect. what are the professors like? What did you get on your teas and your gpa to get into the program?

I am in the full-time program, but I heard that the part time program in more laid back. From what I have been told you have a weekly test in professional practice. Make sure that you do the bonus it can make a difference between a B and an A. There are a lot of new teachers this years, so I really don't know much about their teaching style.you will definitely have a lot of free time, but you can always switch to the full-time program. I had a 82.4 on my teas, but it was on version IV. I'm not sure about my GPA because I already have a degree.

thanks so much for replying. Ms SGr. I really want to get into the program. If there is anything else you find useful please let know. thanks again

I'm not exactly sure, but I believe next year they are requiring students to have their CNA license, or hospital experience. If so then you will not have to take the skills class which starts in the summer. Also they look at your 3 best science grades which is a plus. When are you planning on applying?

hello sgr, I will not apply till next year to the university of west ga nursing program. when i went up to the newnan campus someone told me the teas test is extreamly important. He said he had to take the teas test twice. thanks for responding.
