Hello, I'm creating this group for UPenn's MPN Fall 2026 program. Good luck all!

hi! I applied priority and got a zoom interview from admissions director! has anyone else gotten it? if so, how did it go? 

Also, just curious of how people are feeling about this reddit thread:

Wow - Congrats. That was pretty fast. When did you submit the application. I just completed mine by the early deadline for the MPN/MSN program. Waiting to hear back.

That's great news! I submitted my application the day before the priority deadline and I'm still waiting to hear back!

I submitted my application 4 days before the early deadline. good luck!

I wanted to comment on the accreditation topic. I went to their in person open house last month and this question came up. They did state that the first class is graduating this December and the accreditation board was visiting the school this month. Penn has since updated there website to note that the MPN program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. I'm not considered that they won't receive accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

What did they say that made you confident that they will obtain CCNE accreditation? I'm worried bc it's large financial commitment, and I'm not from PA, and want to eventually return back to my state if I chose that program.

They said it's not guaranteed, but all new programs have to graduate at least one class before accreditation can be granted. Since this program has replaced their ABSN, and all other existing programs hold accreditation I have a high level of confidence that the MPN will meet the required standards. I do agree that this is a valid concern, as it's not guaranteed.

I got a zoom interview on Nov 24 with PMHNP faculty. I have not heard anything from them. Has anyone got admitted?

The admissions office told me that decisions will be coming out during the second or third week of January.
