University of Oklahoma Lawton at Duncan 2012 spring

Hey everyone, Just curious if anyone applied to University of Oklahoma Lawton at duncan for the upcoming Spring semester. I were a few weeks away from knowing the decision im excited but nervous. I applied am I am currently taking "American Politics" class I hope that doesn't weight on their decision, but I also have a 2.8 as my Science GPA, and 2.54 for cumulative GPA. I would like to know everyone elses GPA

Also nervous because if im accepted I have to find a place down there, i currently reside in Missouri. I would like to hear from others.

I applied for the spring ABSN program for 2012. Waiting for the letter to come to say if I got in or not. I live in Oklahoma now but not in Duncan so I'll have to move too. My science gpa is incomplete because I'm still taking anatomy and micro but I'm hoping for a 3.0 science. My cumulative gpa is probably around a 3.6.

hey,good gpa with a 3.5 you should definitely get in. although you have science courses you haven't competed not sure how much that weighs in on it but I guess will know in a few weeks. Lets hope for the best. You know if they have on campus housing our off campus?

I called yesterday and asked when they would be mailing the letters and the lady said that they would be mailing them next week. So we'll see. I honestly have no idea. Lol. I'm pretty sure they have some campus apartments but I'm not 100% on that. If they do then let's hope that there are some available. I doubt I'll live on campus though.

Great! Mailing the letters next week can't wait. Do you know if we will receiver a letter regardless if we got in or not? Have you taken CPR class and have you had all your Immunizations taken care of? if so, where at?

We probably get letters either way so let's hope for the best. I haven't done the CPR or immunizations yet. It's a crazy semester trying to do school and work so I haven't had time to breathe yet, so that will have to happen after finals. Ugh. Good luck tho! Should find out soon!

I didn't get accepted said my application was denied somehow. I have to call and see why Monday I guess.

Yeah. I got waitlisted. So now I'm looking into backup plans.

Whats the difference? How long do you have to wait? And do you know if I can still be considered for the other two oklahoma campuses because I applied for those also.

I would have to wait to see if someone drops or opts out of the program and I *might* have a chance at getting a spot. I'm not sure if that applies to the other campuses.
