Hi, thanks for making this page! I just applied also. I’ve been told by someone in the part time program that it is virtually impossible to work during their full time because it’s accelerated and really intensive. Would like to hear more thoughts from someone currently in the program though.
have any of you guys heard back?
I'm having a hard time finding a PRN job in Miami without any previous nursing experience. Residency programs seem to be the only way to start working as a new RN; not sure how feasible it is to balance the full-time FNP and a residency, though.
Does anyone know if it is possible to "transfer" this application to the Spring 2021 part-time curriculum? I don't want this to hurt my chances of getting accepted, but I also cannot skip on getting work experience as an RN these next three semesters.
Thank you everyone! Glad we have this page to help each other out.
Yeah I found it hard to get a PRN job without having 2 years experience. My first RN job made me do a residency and it was really intense the first 6 weeks. I hope you find something though! Why not find a job now and then switch to PRN once the program starts? I’ve thought of that too but I’m too scared to ask.

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to start this page for all UoM Fall of 2020 prospective F.N.P. students, so we can stay up to date with any news from anyone involved!
