Hello fellow future RNs!
I wanted to know if there were any others in this group applying to Kapiolani ADN program for the Spring 2024 semester. I'm worried I won't get it. I'm so nervous! I just think I didn't score high enough on the ATI test :( My GPR for prerequisites is 3.9. All A's with one B My core-requisites are both A's
My ATI score is 83.3% I have been a Certified Medical Assistant for 7 years with direct patient care in urgent care, cardiology, dermatology and general surgery. I also have 2 really amazing reference letters. One from an MD I worked for verifying my past work experience and one from a teacher that teaches the BSN clinicals at UH Manoa.

Hello,
I just finished all the pre-requisites and core-requisites! All A's with one B too. I haven't taken my TEA's exam yet but I scheduled it this Summer. I don't have any direct patient care experience. :(

Wow, that 3.9 GPA, solid ATI score, and your experience as a Certified Medical Assistant—make you a strong candidate for the Kapiolani ADN program. Best of luck with your application!
