Hello All! Haven't seen a thread for the Summer 2024 UF ABSN 

Anyone able to access the NursingCAS Application for 2024 Admission?

Hi! I am planning to apply soon(?) just need to take my HESI A2. Anyone know anything about class size or something like that? Worried I won't get into because my GPA is not very good (3.5 ish)

I think it depends on the location. I think for the Gainesville it is 70 and I think Jacksonville is 60ish. But they also use a holistic process so they don't just look at your GPA.

Okay thank you. I wish they had average GPA and HESI somewhere. I am working on the essay now, but I'm having trouble. I'm glad the due date got pushed back, so I can continue focusing on work for a bit

Me too, they don't really have like an average for many things. I've seen from past posts that your essays and letter of recommendations play a huge role.

Hi I graduated with my B.S. in biology from UF last year. I took my HESI A2 back in october and I got a 89.5%. My overall GPA is around 3.6ish and my prereq GPA is 3.85. I was also a PCA at nursing home for a couple months then I was a medical assistant at a podiatry office and I am currently a medical assistant at Urology clinic. I also volunteered at 2 hospitals before working.

Congratulations! I hope to hear back soon. I'm very nervous about everything. I hope my essays and letter of recommendations help me out. My GPA isn't the highest.

don't be sorry ! I think I submitted everything a little bit after thanksgiving
