Hi! I actually received admission to the after degree program on sep. 9. I applied mid July

Congrats Mia. Did you receive an email notification to check your account ? What was your GPA if I may ask?

Yeah the email came a little later but I found out by checking the ucalgary student center and seing a green check mark. My GPA is ~3.9

I checked my status last night and saw that I’ve been added to a waitlist. I wonder how come I’m already on a waitlist. I thought they just started giving out admissions. My GPA is 3.8. I’m so confused right now!

Admission Decision:

 

Your application has been reviewed and you have been added to the waitlist for this program choice. 


As your average is below the current competitive average for admission to this program, you have been added to the waitlist until it can be determined if additional space is available. 


While we are unable to inform you about what your position is on the waitlist, please note that additional offers will be granted to applicants with the highest averages (top-down) first.


Please continue to monitor your Student Centre and email as you will be notified if we can offer you a position at a later date. Waitlists may be held for Spring until April 15, for Summer until May 15, for Fall until August 15 and for Winter until December 15th.
