Hi! I applied to the FNP program for Fall 2017 and I interviewed back in January or February. I emailed them today to ask about the orientation dates and was told the Grad Faculty is currently working on admission decisions and orientation will likely be during the week of Aug 14

I'm very anxiously awaiting them to send out emails and letters about acceptance. I hope it's next week that they let us know because we're going to be required to take a summer class for statistics as well as a writing class

I just found out I got into the U of Arkansas but nothing from the college of nursing yet!

See I read the acceptance and it says acceptance into the program. Do they notify you separate?

Ahhh same! I contacted them and you were right about them contacting me separate. She said yeah unfortunately that admission doesn't mean you go in the program, so I got sad. And then few hours later I got the Congrats DNP email!

Nevertheless I'm so excited. Yes I believe so. I was waiting to hear back from UAB, but they had to postpone my interview due to bad weather for Monday so I don't know how that all works if I want to wait, can I say yes to UARK and then say no later if I get into UAB or if I should just stick with UARK and not even think about UAB. I don't know.

I would still interview with UAB if you can and wait to make the decision until you hear back, if Ark will give you that time!
