Univ. of WY, I need some help!

I just found out I'm not accepted into the UoW's school of nursing because I don't have all the prereqs, which is fine. But now I'm having trouble trying to sign up for classes online through UoW and I can't seem to get any help. I email and call, have received nothing back for days. I'm not even sure how long I have to register for classes for the fall. I'm waiting to hear from the degree analyst about my clepped classes. And I just saw that out of state student tuition is $312/hr! I picked UoW because I thought my classes would cost ~ $140/hr, and now I'm not sure what to do. I feel very confused by all this, which upsets me because I can usually figure things out on my own w/o a lot of direction. I feel like I'm ready to try University of Phoenix because they at least do everything for you. I just wanted to avoid them because I know they are VERY expensive.

Can anyone help?

The outreach school that you would be taking classes through is around $140 per credit hour. They have two different rates--outreach for distance education and campus for people physically there taking classes on the campus. Try this link to the outreach school: Online UW

I was accepted into their program and have since decided to go elsewhere. They did not want to accept several of my basic education--math, communication, and english--I'm not in the mood to retaking these classes. I did take patho with them which also helped my decision. I felt like the instructor didn't teach and made the tests so difficult that it didn't matter if I read and studied I still had to search for most of the answers.

I think it's a good program, but if I'm going to be on my own I prefer to go at my own pace.

Thanks for the financial info, willtm. I have already paid the application and transcript eval fees and also have a scholarship for the 1st year, $500 for each semester, so I feel kind of stuck there. But I have not been having the best experience w/ them so far, it seems very diff to get any straight answers from them. I asked about my cleps SO many times and could never quite get what they were trying to tell me until someone sent me an email that said "we only accept clep scores from the clep program" and sent me the link. It took me several weeks to be able to get such a direct answer to such a simple question. I am feeling very frustrated right now. ERGH!:angryfire
