Unitek LVN-RN Accreditation

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering about the transferability of an ADN from Unitek College in Fremont, CA. I completed all my prerequisites at a CC. Will I be able to attend an RN-BSN program at a CSU or other university if I complete my ADN at Unitek? The school is listed as ACCSC accredited. Has anyone had difficulty finding a job because of this schools' accreditation? Thank you!

Because the school isn't WASC accredited, you'll probably have a harder time transferring those units you earn at Unitek than you would transferring from a WASC accredited CC. You may end up having to repeat a lot of your LDGE coursework at the University you wish to do your RN to BSN if they're not able to accept your Unitek coursework.
