Union University CRNA program question regarding the curriculum

I just got accepted into Union University's CRNA Program. I had a question regarding the curriculum. I noticed that its a front loaded program, yet i saw that in the fourth semester, we take pediatric and ob anesthesia. Are these purely clinical or is there a class and a clinical? and if there is a class, would the class be held at the Jackson Campus?

Im glad you mentioned that. I am waiting for BlueBolt also. Started watching his videos last night after i posted this and i must say, I'm going Union for 2018.

Ask and you shall receive.

The whole first year is lecture/studying. First semester will seem very hard to you when you start but in reality it's the easiest of the whole program. They will ease you in fairly well. You won't get into specific academic anesthesia information until the Spring. It will hit you like a ton of bricks.

Second year is two anesthesia specialty classes a week. Two doctoral research courses. You'll work on your DNP project the whole year. You'll also do 3 days a week of rotations (10-12 hour days). Fall semester is OB and Peds as your two specialty anesthesia courses. Spring is Neuro and Cardiac.

Your second year rotations will be heavily based on general surgery and getting your foundational clinical skills and independent thinking processes down pat.

The third year will be constant studying for boards and 40 hours (or more) a week of specialty rotations where you practice pretty independently with a CRNA or MDA on standby somewhere to help if you call for them.

Ive applied to Union Uni. However, I am still waiting my last official transcript (which was sent on Jan 9th) will be shown on NursingCAS before Feb 1st. Im wondering if there is any seat left. How many do they usually accept ? thanks
