Well I recently checked SIMS and I was wait listed. If I do not get in this semester I plan to retake my TEAS as my Math score was relatively low (60%) as I did not finish that section and guessed the remaining questions.

I just saw my status on SURFS change yesterday to Provisional Admit. I'm still taking Nutrition and need to CLEP out of Human Growth & Development.

I am actually going to the Baltimore campus but @ Hegster...I am in the same situation. My status changed on Wednesday and received my phone call on Thursday. When/where do you plan to take the CLEP for HG&D? I'm debating on whether to try the CLEP or to take the class online during the Winter 2015.

I was hoping to take it locally at a high school in my area. I went to the CELP website and paid for it, but I have to call the school to schedule a test date. I bought the study guide, I just need to read it over before I schedule my test! I'll take it sometime in December. I don't suppose there's much time to retake it if I don't pass, but I'm thinking positive...

Sending nothing but positive vibes your way. I am also studying and planning to take the exam in December. My backup plan (if needed) is to take it online during the winter session. I've found a couple of different options that run from 1/5 - 1/16. Best of luck to you!

Hey guys! :) Does anyone have any information about the textbooks we'll be needing? I found two welcome letters on the UMSON website, but they provide the textbooks only for the NURS 314 and NURS 317 courses at the Shady Grove campus. I'm guessing we'll get a list soon, but if anyone has information, let me know!

You can search the bookstore website, but I only found three of our five classes listed for Spring. I'm waiting until I get my welcome letter and register for classes, because I don't want to buy the wrong books. I'll definitely be buying used somewhere.

Got my acceptance letter! I'm sure most of you have as well. Doesn't have any information regarding textbooks, though. I'm wondering if the textbooks provided in the welcome letters from this page (although from the previous semester) cover all of the textbooks we'll need for the first semester. Boy do I hope so!

Hi! Just got accepted to the nursing program at shady grove! So excited! Someone mentioned they saw the courses offered in the spring for our class. Do you mind posting the names of the courses? Does anyone know of anyone who did the program part time? Looking into that. I think the full load would be too much for me!
