Has anyone interviewed at UMDNJ? If so, can you tell me what it was like?

Don't know if you are still intersted in this but they have a program with a presentation first and while you wait for your interview you get to hang out with the students and ask them about the program. When your turn comes you are in a room with a panel. They ask clinical and regular why are you doing this type questions.
When are you going?
Thanks for the tips .... it went just as you described.
Do you know anyone currently in the program and how
it is going for them?
You're welcome! How do you feel you did?
No I don't know anyone in the program except the students that I met that day. They seem to like it. It seems like a really good group I didn't get that same cohesiveness feeling at Columbia but maybe it was just the people that they chose. I was impressed by the program though!
I think the interview went well, but after being rejected from Upenn "because I displayed nervousness,"
I am not sure what to think. I would say my voice shook less at this interview, and I answered all of their questions but I am hesitant to assume anything at this point. I have learned that the panels looks for more then just experience and grades and are not very forgiving of a shaky voice. I also am unsure that they are only selecting people with YEARS of experience.
As for the interview, there were about 6 people sitting around a table and I was placed at the head of the table. They were for the most part a friendly group and asked the basic questions. I think I could have been more prepared on pharmacology in hind site but all in all I think it was a good interview.
I loved the fact that they had a graduate and current students to talk to while you wait for your interview (although I was FIRST). They were very candid and seemed very happy with their experience so far.
Did you except an offer yet? When did you interview?
That sucks about Penn. The students were all about saying I don't know if you don't know in the interview. Many of them said that they were surprised that they had been accepted considering how much they did not know in the interview. If you were able to answer ALL their questions and have grades good enough for an interview there and at Penn I think you're in.
I have not accepted an offer yet. I want to see how it all pans out first. The waiting is killing me since I interviewed on 1/16.
As far as Penn goes, I thought I had the stats - A GPA of 3.86 although did not have GRE's as they told
me I could wave them due to my GPA ....yet when I called to find out why I was rejected, they told me
because I was nervous and because I did not have GRE's? Go figure.
So what are your choices between?
OMG! Just crazy!
Actually I think I am going to accept Columbia esp if I can get the fa to work out. where else are u waiting on?
Any one heard from them yet?
I heard from them on Monday
