Has anyone else applied to UMass Boston Traditional Nursing program for fall 2021? I'm so nervous!! I know last year they didn't make decisions until April but I am hoping that this year it will be any day. I keep refreshing my UMB portal every hour hoping it has updated.

Hi, I also applied! I have been told that we should know in march but then someone else from the school said end of march/start of April. I know we get an email when its updated so I'm trying not to check it too much. I applied for the Spring and got waitlisted and we found out at the start of December then.
Check your portal! I got accepted this morning

Hi all, I am new to the platform, I have been accepted into the Nursing Program for the Jan 2023, the traditional Program. Is is anyone here who will be starting or have started? Also how many actual in class days are there. Thank you all good luck to all!!
Hi NurseRoxxyR! I'm currently enrolled in the traditional BSN program at Umass I started fall 2021, are you going in as a freshman? or are you transferring in? I transferred and started Umass with the core nursing classes which the first semester is Health assessment, Fundamentals, Pathophysiology and Nursing Research. Each class meets once a week except for nursing research which meets once or twice a month, fundamentals has a clinical component and Health Assessment has a lab component.
Hi kimby28, thank you for your Timely response. I am coming in as a transfer student as well, to complete the nursing classes. OK so sounds like we are in class 2/4 times per week? How was your 1st semester?

Hi Kimby,
I've recently applied for Fall 2023 and now I just wait until the end of May to hear a decision. I was under the impression that this program was online with 4 to 5 meets per semester as it indicates on the program's FAQ. Based on what you've you shared, is the program different than what it advertise? I am curious to know how was your experience? And considering that you applied Fall 2021 I am assuming you graduated, how is it in work field?
