UK nurse in need of Florida nurses help

hi, to all florida nurses, i am in need of help. i am a nurse in the uk and will be relocating in the next couple of years to florida. i am interested in the winnie palmer hospital as women and childrens nursing is my speciality back here. i would really like some advise on local areas and schools etc. i am fully aware of the pros and cons of emigrating and have been weighing them up for 2 yrs but have decided i will regret it if we dont try it . i am awaiting to sit nclex and then its full steam ahead. would probably be renting for a while with a view to buying will be coming with husband an 11yr old girl and a dog. all help and suggestions gratefully received.

Hi from a fellow brit in Florida. I dont know the area you are in so cant help you there. But i would definately rent before you buy unless you really know the area very well. We bought before we came over here but had researched the area for 3 years and visited several times before moving but to be honest it was one of the most stressful things i have had to go through closing on a house in a different country when you are not even here so rent first lol
