UIC BSN Fall 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello.

I'm pre-nursing student planing to apply to UIC's Nursing Program this Fall for the Class 2021. I'm super nervous because I hear it's really hard to get accepted and even a 4.0 is not a guarantee. Who else is applying and does anyone know what application process is like?

Hey! I'm reapplying this year so I can tell you what I know about the process.

you have to do the applications, recommendations, resume, then they contact you for an interview schedule. Make sure you have recommendations on before the deadline. You need an academic one at least. People found out around April last year if you got in or were waitlisted. I think interviews were late February

Hi! I'm reapplying as well. It takes a lot of process to do all the requirements unlike other schools so make sure that all of it is met. The reason why I had to reapply was because I missed a prerequisite subject due to the fact that I was from an International school and they gave me the letter for the credited subjects later after when I already got accepted. Which is why mine got really complicated. Make sure your standing in school is great as well. I had a 3.65 converted GPA and I got accepted at the Urbana campus so I'm not sure how grades are in the case of us getting accepted. Now, I'm reapplying at the Chicago campus. Good luck to all of us!
