UHC Telecommute prospect question

Published

I am looking to transition into a work from home position. I had a phone interview with UHC for RN Nurse Coordinator position and so hoping to get a call for the next step. Does any one here work for United Healthcare in a similar role or that may know the answer to my question? I didnt want it to sound complicated during the phone interview, but my husband is active duty Army and we are required to stay close to base, we also have joint custody of our children from previous marriages that are 2 hours from base, thus we have 2 homes. Fun times! My question, is it remotely possible to have both of my homes set up for this type of position? I would be willing to pay out of pocket if need be due to the unpredictability of the schedules of when I need to be at one house vs the other house? I mean I dont think oh I can have just a lap top & pop into any location that has wifi blasting hippa info in public places. Just 2 HOME offices? HELP! The recruiter did mention that you cannot move for 6 months & them pay for installation, which I get..so if cost is the issue, I would love to know. I just dont want to scare a potential employer off with the details. If not I will come up with something to make it work at one home or the other, but if this is possible, it would be life changing and un-complicate life by like 85%. ANY input is appreciated! THANK YOU
