Does anyone know what the difference is? I am trying to compare. Excited to get started.

Neither. Both are for profit colleges and neither is nationally or regionally accredited in addition to being outrageously expensive. The only program at Hondros that is accredited is the ASN-BSN program. That is only because they don't have to take NCLEX pass rates into account. I'm assuming the reason the LPN and ADN programs are not accredited is due to pass rates. Your credits won't transfer because they are not regionally accredited.

I think you should do some more research on schools to attend other than the fancy website with happy-looking models. Also, their admissions people are nothing more than salespeople employed to sell you tuition. These places are infamous for lying about their credentials to people. Fortis has a terrible reputation where I currently live and had never heard of the other. When I looked up Hondros, they did explain accreditation on their site and that only the ADN-BSN program qualifies for accreditation by the CCNE.

Fortis in centervillle oh has NLNAC accreditation

Ohio University, University of Cincinnati, and Indiana Weslyn will accept Hondros credits for their BSN programs. I have friends from the program who are attending these schools now. I am a graduate myself and am deciding between OU and IW. The DON and another gal at the company I work for are Hondros grads and both went to OU. Neither had any issues transferring any classes to my knowledge. Not looking to say the previous poster is wrong, but I am just pointing out what I know, just from being a grad of the college.
