Yes! Each unit/dept one is its own residency application. I'm still working through mine.
Also just a warning to anyone reading this:
When you get to the essay questions: the online application will log you off in the middle of writing your answers if you take too long because it like thinks you're "inactive," and it will NOT save your work! Do yourself a favor: copy the questions onto a Microsoft Word document, type your answers, and then copy/paste them into your application when they're all done. I lost about a good hour's worth of work yesterday, LOL.... it's all good though ?
@sd nursing student I haven't heard back or gotten a call yet, but was looking through old threads from past UCSD nurse residency applicants and it looks like it took anywhere from 7-14 days before folks started getting calls.
I also got to learn about the process, if anyone wants to know:
You start with an initial phone screen with HR; and then if you make it to the next round, it's a panel interview with the department managers . For that one you can expect a combination of behavioral questions, prioritization, delegation, and clinical scenario questions. Job offers after that, but know that not all departments are interviewing at the same time....
Hope this is helpful!
@StudentNurse1221 mine still says "Application Received"
How about yours?
