UAMS

Does anyone know how competitive you have to be to get in at UAMS? I have a 2.7 GPA.

From what I have heard it changes every year, depending on the applications. I have a friend who started there last year and she has talked to several people in her class who got in with 2.5's.

Thanks! That gives me some hope.

I looked into UAMS about a year ago and talked with an advisor... or maybe it was the dean of the MSN program, anyways, I was told that your GPA from the last 60 hours or so has to be at least a 2.5. However, the lower your GPA, the higher your GRE score has to be to get in. I can't remember exactly what it was but it was not that high. You can probably find most of this information on their website. If you are wanting to study in Arkansas, I suggest that you look into the UCA master's program. It is mostly web-based and considered an easy school to get into. No GRE required either if your GPA is above a 2.7.

I am referring to the undergradaute BSN program. I am not planing on pursuing a graduate degree. You have to be a nurse, first. The GRE doesn't apply to undergrad. If you had read my post in greater detail you'd have known what I was referring to.
