I had a question today from well respected, educated and skilled male nurse. How Arab countries perceive ,,MALE NURSES,, I would like to see some response as far as cultural differences, religious believes and so on. Also what are chances for a male nurse to obtain a job in Arab countries like UAE, Quatar etc. and how to go about it. Is there any state and or country licensing required, are there any job sites with job posting, what is the hiring process in those countries.
Thank you.

I've looked into it and they don't pay what they used to. The best thing is to contact their embassy. I was checking into Saudi Arabia.
UAE is expensive, though. I'd call their embassy in DC first. Many countries have been training their own citizens also from what I've seen. It seems to me the days of American influence and people wanting us is coming to a close and some regions are tired of our vile culture and influence. Spending months over there, the opinions are all scattered; it's the bad one's that scare me in some places where murder is a slap on the wrist. Some places the majority seem to hate us a LOT (unless you have money to give them) so be careful. I almost got killed once, beat up once. Luckily I had an escort both times to step in as I fled.
Google "english" and hospital and the town. There are some good Russian hospitals in some places and some are King funded. I can't say enough about the food
Wow, really kinda surprised by the reply, I did have totally different opinion and vision about it. You almost got killed once, oh wow. I don't have experience in the Saudi at all was just thinking of moving there, but greatly appreciate your opinion rthat you shared. I may look elsewhere then.
