I applied for this upcoming class and have not heard anything either. When I last spoke to them they indicated their letters for interviews would go out by the first of the year. When I spoke with them previously, they indicated they would go out by the 15th of December. I would not be surprised to get a later in the next week, however, I bet they will not go out until after the first of the year.
The first semester went well. We finished up Thursday the 11th and will go back Jan 6th. The next semester is supposed to be very tough with Gross Anatomy, EKG, and Anesthesia Pathophysiology. My entire class was ready for the break though. The library scene was getting kind of old toward the end, but we have lots more in the very near future. To me, the first semester was sort of like I expected. There was a lot of volume to my notes. The tests covered large amounts of material. I am looking forward to next semester, and really look forward to clinicals, which start in the summer.

I know each school is different, but could you go a bit more into how your classes were structured? Did the profs give you any guidance as to what they expected you to know or did they just give you tons of info and expect you to sort it out yourself? Did the profs highlight certain bits of information? Did the profs test cover their notes mainly or expect you to read from the book? Did the prof's tests cover what the profs lectured on? Did the profs tell you what bits of information were going to be covered on the test or was it more akin to 30 random questions covering 10 chapters? Just wondering. I hear there's so much information, and the texts are obviously very indepth. I just can't see how students get through it without some sort of guidance....
