U of Akron? core classes Q's

I'm applying to Akron university in Ohio, it appears that they have a bunch of core classes they want you to take -

I found 1 (really old) thread with 2 responses on Akron U, I wanted to hear from anyone who has gone to Akron, or is going there now - what they think about the program, the application process, etc

i'm especially curious about the core classes and how they play out with regards to acceptance

I realize that this is somewhat old (a little over a year ago!) so I'm not sure if you are currently attending Akron U and still finishing up your pre-reqs, but I go to Akron and I'm starting the BSN program this fall. If you have any questions on anything, feel free to message me :)
