typical day

hey guys and gals, i am about to start nursing school in the fall. i was just wondering what a general day of a nurse consisted of. i have an idea in my head; i was just wondering what some of you do on a daily basis. is it mostly bed baths and cleaning or administering medicine or assisting doctors or what? i know there are differnt areas of nursing so the more responses the better. thanks all.

I'm in my second semester of LPN program, My first semester was basic nursing skills, passing, medications, legal, ethics, and pharmacologic, Now I'm taking Trends on Nursing and is all about getting a job and working in the field , My next semester will be on med-surg, Hope this helps and give you an idea!!!! Is a learning experience so don't worry too much, one day at the time!!! :clown:

Thanks im about to start in the fall. I'm pretty nervous about the workload but i've done well so far so it should not be something I can't handle.

There's a thread covering a lot of this topic here. I certainly don't mind answering it again but, frankly, I don't want to do all that typing. Check it out, though, it may answer quite a few questions.
