hey all.. just wondering what some of your book lists are.. looking to get 'ahead' a little before school starts, and notice it's difficult to find the answer to this question.. any responses greatly appreciated - -

If you have been accepted to a program, they may have a list of books posted on their web site or you can ask them for a book list. I would hold off on purchasing any of the big anesthesia books, as a drug company has purchased 2 books so far for our class, with more to come.

I've found the Nurse Anesthesia SECRETS book by Karlet good as a quick read. Same format as the critical care nurse secrets series of books.

ISBN is 0-323-03144-7. I think the list price is $39.95 or so.

Definitely Morgan and Mikhail's Clinical Anesthesiology.
