Glad to see you started this thread, it was hard to follow who was going to Dallas and who would be attending the Houston campus. I"m eager to get started.

Got mine yesterday...not too much info in it. Just a bunch of forms we need to fill out.

hey! yeah i got mine the other day as well...i was anticipating like packets and brochures and stuff.....i was really excited...when i got it..i was like "oh"...like u said..it was jus forms :/

Lol. Yeah.....TOTALLY anticlimactic. At least now I know when orientation is and that we're getting lunch with it. Woo hoo!

hi all! i received my packet in the mail the other day. i'm really excited about the program! the packet has pertinent information, which is all i care about...no fluff. hehe! i look forward to meeting you guys during orientation! by the way, has anyone looked into where to get your immunizations done? i saw on the other fall 2010 thread that someone in houston found a place where you could get all your shots for $15! is there anywhere in dallas we could do that? that would be really helpful!

I wasn't necessarily looking for fluff, just kind of hoping it would have more information than it did. Maybe an itinerary of what orientation would cover and a list of the books and stuff we could go ahead and start getting together for the first semester...you know, for those of us who are overly-anxious and didn't want to wait until orientation.

As for immunizations, I would call the health department, but I'm not really sure. If they don't do it, I am sure they can refer you to someone who does. I'm thinking that since I work at a hospital, I already have everything I need, or they wouldn't let me work here...if not I hope they can give me whatever I am lacking. If they can't, I'll find out whatever the most cost-effective place would be and let you guys know!

ARE THERE ANY FEMALES GOING TO TWU DALLAS FALL 2010 THAT MIGHT BE LOOKING FOR A ROOMATE? I'm trying to move out of my house and need a roomate to split the cost..I'm the most down to earth, easy to live with person you will ever meet. I'm pretty quiet and I will obviously be very studious throughout the semester and barely at home...LET ME KNOW by responding on this thread!

BOOOO I'm so jealous of all of you. When I got my TWU acceptance letter it was like yayyyyy I'm in............oh no.....I'm moving to Houston. For some crazy reason, I thought that since I went to T-dub for 31 credits prior (notice 1 cr. hr. under the cutoff for the boost) they would consider me for Dallas as a priority but NOPE off to Houston I went- two semesters ago and now I only have two more to go woohoo!! Congratulations to all of you and enjoy the crazy ride!!!
