I would definitely study the TEAS V manual from ATI. The majority of the examples given in that study guide are a tremendous help. Also, I would utilize the practice tests offered by ATI as well so you can get a feel for being timed and solving the problems. From there, you can go back and touch up on your weaknesses from your practice test results.
I haven't heard from anyone applying to this particular program, so I'm pretty nervous as to how many will actually be accepted.
Yeah I'm not sure how many applicants are actually accepted at the Odessa campus. Maybe our odds are better since most applicants apply to Lubbock or Aiblene. Have you submitted your application yet?
Hi Tennessean_Texan,
So I called the TTUHSC SON a little bit ago, and I asked them how many spots were available for the Permian Basin. The lady told me that Odessa accepts 25 and that we would be hearing something by late September-Early October on interviews. Have you submitted your application yet? What were your stats if you don't mind me asking (TEAS V, GPA, Science GPA).
Hi Maggie!
I'm so sorry for the delayed response. I was actually called in for an interview and granted contingent admission. Unfortunately, this past fall I had to drop
the chemistry prerequisite I was taking so I could not accept my offer for the Spring admission. I'll be taking chemistry in the spring and applying to the Summer 17 program at TTUHSC. Hopefully, I can get a second acceptance. I'm not sure how many people apply for the summer term, so I'm a little nervous. How about you? Were you accepted?

Hi Everyone!
I am currently finishing my last two pre-reqs in order to apply for the nursing program here in the Spring of '17. My current overall GPA is a 3.33 and my science GPA is a 2.947. I took the TEAS V and scored a 70% on it. I am currently making myself absolutely crazy because I am so nervous that my scores will not get me into the program. I know they are currently accepting 25-35 students here. Does anyone have any advice or can you tell me if anyone has been accepted with scores that are similar? I'm thinking to retake my TEAS V to get a higher score, but am not sure, I've been told I did very well on the TEAS V. Any help/advice would be great!!
