TTU Traditional BSN Program

Published

Hello, everyone! I am applying for Texas Tech's Traditional BSN program this summer for spring of 2019. I already sent my application.

My overall GPA: 4.0

My overall science GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 77

I am a transfer!

Just wondering if anyone got accepted or is applying with grades like mine! Also looking for a roommate if I do get accepted! I applied for the Lubbock campus and the Abilene campus. Lubbock was my first choice, however! Please let me know! Thanks so much! I'm pretty nervous!

Hey! I'm also applying to the Traditional BSN in Lubbock for the spring :-) My overall GPA is a 3.94 and my science is a 3.67. My TEAS was a 91.4%. I'm currently a student at Tech. I'm also super nervous because of that one B that brought my science GPA down :))))) What other types of things do you have on your application like volunteer/shadow/work experience?

The biggest thing I'm nervous about is the interview, because I've heard that that's the biggest part of the entire application process and it can make/break you

Hey! So glad someone else is applying the same time I am! Do know around what time they get back to you because I haven't heard anything yet?

I have a lot of volunteer experience especially when I was in highschool, but I don't have any experience in healthcare sadly! What about you? Girl, your grades look great! Don't be so nervous!

You don't have any reason to be nervous either, with those grades! And to my knowledge, the first real communication about the application process moving forward is the interview notification, which won't come until after the application window closes (August 31), but if your application is incomplete, they might send you reminders about sending in transcripts, TEAS scores, etc. From what I hear about this application window, interviews won't happen until early-mid October, which makes me so nervous because it's so long from now and I don't wanna wait, haha. And yeah, I've been volunteering in Lubbock at the hospital and shadowing at a hospital in my hometown. But it isn't a lot of hours.

If you haven't already, it might be a good idea for you to join the Texas Tech University Pre-Nursing Association group on facebook!

I will definitely check that out! Have you already sent in your application?

Yes I have, just trying to work on getting all of my supplemental items in! I've been having some trouble getting one of my transcripts sent :/

Same! I sent off my transvcript while ago, but I'm not quite sure they update the website saying it's been received.
