Ttc clarksville

I am applying for tennessee technology center in Clarksville Tn. I got a 78 in math and a 99 in reading. Can anyone who has attended or been accepted to this school let me know if I got a good chance of getting in or not? Also the ones that have attended what tri semester do most people fail out of?

I'm attending TTC in Nashville. But I have heard it's similar across the board with these schools. Most people who "pass" the entrance test get in. We could have had up to 70 students in our class, we only had 45ish, a few dropped out though due to other circumstances not grades. From what I have seen it's 2nd trimester that a few have dropped out of cause of grades. OB and Pediatrics are apparently the hard to get ones. But if you study you will be fine. First trimester has been a breeze for me. But I have prior experience and I have noticed ones with less experience or having not been in the study mode for a long time seem to struggle more.

I think they said they only accept 27, or something like that. I have taken anatomy, medical microbiology, and medical terminology so I hope that helps me some. I also worked as a CNA but only for a few months. How far in advance did you get your acceptance letter? Are most people in your class passing?

I got my acceptance letter about a month before class started.. I don't know how your application process is there, but we had to have EVERYTHING done before we were accepted. So drug screen, back ground check, CPR cert, physical, all immunizations, and titers done and the essay done before we could be considered. Then they had a what they called an orientation but still did not let us know if we were in or not. I figured out there that I had made it, cause there was not that many people in the orientation. We wear scrubs to our classes, not sure if Clarksville does, every school is different. And we had a test the second day, so be prepared to study anything and everything they hand out, give you etc. We have literally had a test or pop quiz every day since starting back in May if that tells you anything. So far we have had a few drop out not due to grades, but due to attendance. The instructors have said that it's rare in first trimester for someone to drop out cause of grades, but it does happen. Typically those are ones who are trying to work full time and go to school 5 days a week. Some are able to pull part time jobs on weekends, and are doing fine. Drug cal seems to be the class that the most are having a hard time in, I know of a few people who are below the 80 passing grade right now. IF you apply yourself and study everyday, even on weekends just for a few hours you will be fine. Especially since you have already taken A&P and Med Term you will be fine for first trimester. I took A&P 1 and 2, Micro, Med Term, and my CNA all before doing this, and it's been a breeze for me so far, pulling A's in my classes, and barely getting to really study (have 2 kids, and have a side job i can work at my own time). Hope that helps and gives you hope :)
