I applied to UT nursing school in Houston for Spring 2011, and I was told I am not TSI complete in math, so they said I will probably need to take college algebra this upcoming Fall, and then I would be TSI exempt as long as I get a C in it. My question is, is this true? I have heard of certain tests like the THEA, and the Compass that you can take to get exempt.
The thing is that if I were to fail this test, I would be required to take remedial math courses...and I would never make it to college algebra and be exempt in time!! What should I do???
Also, does anyone know if I need to be TSI exempt BEFORE the application deadline?
Please help!!
