Trying to get into USF Nursing College!!

Published

Hi, this is currently my first year at USF as a Pre-Nursing and I'm pretty concerned at this time about all I would have to do to increase my chances of getting in. I was just hoping to see if any of the current USF nursing students can provide me with some recommendations and also providing some basic information about how they were able to get in. Also, if other Pre-Nursing students could pitch in some of the information they know as well that would be great :).

To honest, I had idea getting into a nursing school would be this competitive, hopefully we can all benefit from each others experiences. It would be nice to build a USF Pre-Nursing community here at allnurses.com to be there for one another since we all have a common goal. Please help,Thank you!

I am pre-nursing at USF and I am applying for Fall 2013. The best advice I could give you is definitely to get A's in all of your pre-reqs and keep your cumulative GPA high as well.

Exactly! Also college of nursing always has events where the nursing students come out and talk about their experiences. They had one last where you could ask them any question you wanted and how to prepare for the program and what to expect. You should definitely check your BB because you should be connected.I mean this site is pretty cool but you can find the answers to your question at USF you go there. Also nursing students love to study in the college of nursing and the library. I for one make it my business to stop them and ask questions. So maybe taking a trip to the college and see if students wouldn't mind answering your questions.
