It's been a while I visit all-nurses forum. I needs all-nurses opinion on how long did it take to make up your mind scheduling and prepared for your NCLEX Exam. Your response is highly appreciated.Thanks.

I had known the date I wanted to test for about three months. Once I got my ATT that date was open and I scheduled. Our exit exam at school was week 7 (out of 9) and so I started studying the next day. I did the ATI live review that the school paid for for us during week 10 (typically break week) and did the entire Lippincotts book, NCSBN, Exam Cram Reviewer and NCLEX 4000. By the beginning of September I was starting to do bad on my questions (at this point I had been studying 7 days a week, 6-8 hours a day)and my husband told me to push my test UP that I was studying too hard...so I did, I moved it up by 8 days. I passed with 75 questions (good pop up) however, since the school just sent our transcripts this week (about 4 weeks after graduation) I still don't have my license posted which is kind of frustrating since I can't do anything right now as far as finding a job is concerned. My classmates are starting to test this week I believe.
