Hi there!
My fiance is a pipeline welder in the oilfield, and I am planning to begin travel nursing. I was wondering if any one knew of agencies that specialized, or at least contracted with, hospitals in predominantly oil field towns in Texas (i.e. Odessa, Pecos, Alpine, Mcamey, Ft. Stockton)?
I will have over a year of medical surgical nursing experience in a critical access hospital, so rural nursing is something I am familiar with and enjoy! I have my BSN-RN as well as my EMT.

Hello!
I'm not aware of any agency that specifically deals with those areas. Generally in a lot of smaller areas with lower needs for nurses tend to hire internally instead of outsourcing contracts to vendors. It is possible that one specific agency has a no compete clause contract with hospitals in those specific areas. If you haven't found the answer yet I would try contacting local hospitals in those areas and ask if they deal with travelers and what agency they work with. If you have any other questions or are interested in general M/S positions in Texas let me know . Best of luck!

TrY searching on indeed.com, they often show travel positions from travel agencies when you specify the city. Be Aware though that sometimes they just put a listing by a travel agency for a travel RN even though it's not specific to that City so you'll have to do some digging
