Travel Nursing questions

I'm a nursing student with a few years left to go and recently our class had a travel nurse as a speaker. I'm really interested in knowing more about the qualifications and requirements behind it. Also, what's the ups and downs of being a travel nurse?? If someone could fill me in a little more, I'd be soo appreciative. Thanks :)

I would suggest going to http://www.delphi.com/travelnurses That's a website where lots of travellers post about their experiences and give/get advice. Have to wade through a lot of information but it's really specific to travelling.
