Did you ever get a travel job? I still have 16 months left in TPAPN, but I hope to start traveling too, when I get out. I wasn't sure how difficult it is to get hired by a travel agency.
There will be no record of my participation in TPAPN, once I'm out, but I know they'll contact the employer who fired me. I know that hospital only ever provides start/end dates of employment and eligible for rehire: yes/no. They will say I am not eligible for rehire, so I guess I'll have to explain that. By that time it will have been 3 years since I was fired, and I will have 2 more recent employers since then.
As far as the "eligible for rehire?" question, I was told (who knows if it's true) that this is something that is answered, if asked. If they don't ask the question, then all they get is start/end dates. I'm not sure if "are they eligible for rehire" is a standard question all recruiters know to ask or not. Hopefully not! Because I've always wanted to do travel nursing, so that goal is what is keeping me going right now.

Hello. I am a couple of months away from completing my TPAPN agreement and BON order. I have worked in acute rehab and psychiatric hospitals.
I really want to start traveling and not devote years to a single employees. Will I be able to work for a travel agency? How will I explain the circumstances behind the BON order since it involves patient safety issues.
