Good afternoon,

I wondered if anyone has any experience finding housing near Queens medical center in Honolulu. If you've been a travel nurse there, do you have any tips for good areas, areas to avoid etc? Also any experience with rental car in Hawaii, any suggested rental car company?

Just want t say I have no experience with the housing in Honolulu, but I CAN'T wait to get there. I lived there as a child on Kaneohe (the Marine Base) and I miss it terribly! I WILL get there one day! Have fun and enjoy the beaches! Good Luck with finding your housing

If you don't mind, would you tell me what agency you are with? I've been presented to a couple of jobs in Honolulu with different agencies, both of them are smaller. I get calls for other positions in other cities right away, but this one seems to be a bit more challenging. Just wondering if the agency is one of the bigger ones. Thanks!

How cool! Yeah I've personally never been, but I've dreamed about it since I was in high school.....and it's finally time, with my nursing career I can go live there!!! Thank you, I am super excited.

While I haven't found a job yet, I have found lots of great housing on Airbnb. If you look beyond the first page into the additional fees section you will see that many places offer a significant monthly discount. There's always craigslist too, but it can be a bit shady. Good luck!
