I've been travel nursing for 5 years and I'm looking at getting a staff job in Philly in the next few months. I have 9 years of experience as a step-down/tele RN but interested in getting ICU experience.
Curious if anyone has any opinions or words of wisdom regarding specific ICUs at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital or any of the Penn hospitals, or if anyone has transitioned from floor nursing to the ICU in those hospital systems. Specifically interested in unit and hospital culture, turnover, that sort of thing.
I worked a travel assignment on a step-down floor at TJUH and liked it, but didn't hear any gossip about the ICUs there. Thanks in advance!! :]
