Transferring to NYU? NYU vs. City Tech

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the City Tech CUNY nursing program and it's dreadful, I don't mind studying but the problem is they make our lives as difficult as they possibly can. They don't teach in class, professors are not knowledgable, reading the text book and knowing it by heart DOES NOT GUARANTEE PASSING THE TEST, THEY BASE THEIR QUESTIONS NOT ON THE ASSIGNED TEXT BOOKS BUT LITERALLY ON AROUND 8 DIFFERENT MED SURG TEXT BOOKS, it is physically impossible to read 8 text books and find what each lack or study them all. They say the NCLEX isn't based on our one nursing text book and we should be pre papered for anything on the tests just like on the NCLEX. They don't give ANY help whatsoever to students, the lectures are a waste of time. I read and know the assigned chapters and do practice tests but that's not enough BECAUSE THE QUESTIONS ON THE TESTS ARE NOT BASED ON THE ASSIGNED CHAPTERS FROM THE SYLLABUS! No test outlines, lectures are a waste of time because they don't teach they just read extremely general info from power points and that info never shows up on the test. Just saw you know CITY TECH'S NURSING SCHOOL GRAD RATE IS 11 ******* PERCENT. It's cheap but this **** is not worth it.

Anyways I wana transfer to a private school because I feel like they care about their students there and aren't trying to fail everyone. Is NYU any better?
