Hello Nevada Nurses and Students,

My name is Stephanie and I need some information on programs in LAS VEGAS. I want to stay in that LAS VEGAS area and I will be transfer student from Washington state with an Associate's degree in Art's and Science. I have completely all the pre-requisites but repeated A&P 3 times, withdrew the first time, D the second time and retaking it next quarter. I know I will get an A, things in life happen especially since I'm supporting myself and my son without help and I am 23 years old. I took Micro and got a C and going to retake it to get a better grade. I have to take A&P2 but I know I can get a good grade now. I took Intro Chem and last grade was a B and took it twice and Organic Chem once and got a 3.6. I have Stat 3.6, and Psych 3 times, last grade 4.0, and Developmental Psych 2 times with a 4.o. I know it's a lot of repeats but I have come so far and I know I have improved. I have a 3.02 right now but I'm trying to still bring my GPA up to a 3.5 and I have been a CNA for 5 years and have a lot of experience. What do you think my chances are?

I was looking into UNLV, but I cannot see when the deadlines are! And YES, I know and have looked at their website, researched, researched, researched and cannot find anything! Can you tell me some information on schools in only the LAS VEGAS area or anything that is at least 30 minutes away from there?

Answer the following questions please?

1. What is the repeat policy?

2. How many times do they admit a year and when are the application deadlines?

3. Are you in an RN program and what was your GPA?

4. Did you repeat any courses?

5. WHAT SCHOOL IS THIS INFORMATION FOR AND LOCATION?

Thank you so much for all those who are answering. Your awesome and helping me so much! My heart is in this 100% and I REFUSE to let anyone tell me to switch or change my dreams because I am going to do this one way or another! I will completely put my whole life and heart into this!
