Contact the school of nursing that you want to go to and see if they give any preference to prerequisites taken at their school, some schools do. If not I would save money at the community college. Also, I would check how far from an associate of science you are as these transfer to meet your general education requirements at the university.
Thank you for responding Matthew! I am very close to the AS in Pre-Medical Health Sciences, so that's definitely something I will look into. I've already earned a certificate of completion for general education, I wonder if that will do the same thing... hmm
I contacted the College of Nursing and I'm waiting to hear back now. Thanks again for the feedback. I'm hoping to save some $ and just go next semester.
Cheers

I'm a current student with a full semester of prerequisites left before I begin applying to Nursing programs. Recently I got accepted to the school I want to get my BSN from, BUT I must complete this upcoming semester prior to applying to the actual Nursing school. Should I save my money and stay at the community college level for this last semester, or should I transfer now and hope that already attending the school gives me a one up on my application?
