how to transfer cna license from texas to california

Hi, my husband and I are planning a move from Texas to California in January of 2011. I have my CNA license here in TX and want to transfer it over to CA so I can find a job over there. If anyone could explain to me how to do this, I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much in advance. :)

I think you have to obtain a application from the California Department of Public Health Aide and Technician Certification.And on the application they have a box you check requesting reciprocity from another State.
