Tranferring between VA's

Have anyone else had any problems transferring between VAs? I had 4 total interviews since February. With the 1st interview, I didn't get the position because the manager wanted nurses with previous RN experience. The 2nd interview was over 5 weeks ago--> the manager of that unit kept insisting that I expect a call to set up a date/time for a 2nd group interview via phone, but that call never came. I called the nurse recruiters weekly, but kept getting "the manager didn't make a decision yet" answer. The 3rd and 4th interview I had a couple of weeks ago. I check my mailbox daily, anticipating a rejection letter from them, but received none so far.

Has anyone ever gone through long waits with the VA for a job offer--or rejection?
