I've been trying to get a job as an iForms analyst, and, as part of this effort, I made an online tool to take an iForm web page and generate boiler plate VGR code. If any of you all use McKesson or are involved in making or maintaining iForms, please check out this tool.
You will need to register with an email address and a password, although I don't send you and email and that information is encrytped in the database. If you don't have any iForms handy to check out the tool, there will be a link, when you log in, that says Download iForms, and it is a zip file of iForms and VGR files. Unzip it, then click on New iForm, where you can upload an iForm and submit it! The second page allows you to add custom error messages by click on the variable name from the iForm (in a list) and typing it in a text box, then click add. It will appear on the left hand side in a list of error messages you've added, which also has a Save button, click that when your done and you will be given a list of forms, just look for yours and you can download the VGR file.
If it's handy for any of y'all then please make use of it. If there are any web apps that would make your life easier, just add the ideas to the comments and I'll see if its something I can whip up.
