I took the TEAS V exam yesterday at a PSI testing center. I want to start off by saying that I was SO nervous. My stomach was hurting so bad and I was literally shaking. I don't ever do really well on standardized tests. I see people on here that made 90% and higher and are not happy with that score- but I am one that is praying for an 80%!! I would be SO happy with an 80%. And I only want that high of a score because my GPA is not what I would like it to be (made "early educational mistakes" my first couple years of college). I purchased the ATI Study Manual and the 2 online practice tests, also the McGraw Hill 5 TEAS Practice Tests. When I took the McGraw Hill practice tests I did pretty good, made in the high 70's. The ATI Study Manual did help me a good bit, so did the practice tests. The 1st practice test I made a 63% and the second I made a 73%. I am good at Math and English but not great at Reading and really not great at Science. My advice to everyone is to purchase the ATI Manual and practice tests. They are 100% worth the money. They give you an idea of what type of questions and what material you should practice at. I should get my score in a few days, I will post it on here (even if it low and embarrassing). I wish I could make what most people on here make, I'd be so grateful. The people that make 89% and say they did not study at all- you are lucky and I am so jealous! :) Either way- if you are like me and terrified of the TEAS V exam, YOU CAN DO IT. Believe in yourself. Study and practice. I work 40-50 hours a week at a clinic and go to school 4 nights a week (16 hours this semester) and I crammed in time to study for the TEAS, I did end up having to take a couple of my vacation days to study because I ended up having 3 exams and school and a paper due the same week of my TEAS. Always remember too, you can always retake it!! That thought has been what has kept me sane this whole time. Knowing that if I need to, I can always retake it. Purchase the ATI Manual, Practice tests on atitesting, and 5 Practice Tests from McGraw Hill (cheapest on AMazon). Good Luck to everyone!!

Did you take yours at a PSI center? Paper/pencil or computer? I was told 48 business hours for my results (which would've been Wednesday) and I got my results back last night. I am actually very happy with my score!! (Even though most people on here make way higher than me). I made an overall 81.3%. My school requires at least 64%. But of course, my GPA isn't probably as high as most applicants. My GPA at the end of the semester will only be a 3.20 But, my advisor said my score is very good and thinks I have a great chance. I am actually considering retaking it just to bring my score up a little. If I had a 3.5 or higher I probably wouldn't even worry with retaking it. Science is hard on that test!! I ended up making a 75% in Science, but I made an 89.8% in English and Math, then an 81% in Reading. I was soooo nervous too. But, I did study a good bit. I'm not one of those people who can just make a 80% without even trying, wish I was though. Either way, my goal was 80% and I met it. I wish you luck professionalgirl80!! Let me know how you do! :)

Hey when your results finally came in, did you just log into ATI and click on my results? I took mine at a psi testing site yesterday

I'll take my exam next week. I bought the ATI Manual and McGraw Hill 5 Practice Test and studied on and off for 5 weeks.
I have also felt so nervous and terrified of this exam because my score on practice tests are almost the same as yours. Since I have read your threads, I somehow calm down a bit and think I can just keep cramming for 1 more week. I will post my result on here when I get my result. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
