Good for you! I took mine last Friday and got a 91. We only took the math, grammar, reading, and vocab.
I thought it followed the official study guide pretty closely.
There were some very simple roman numerals, conversions, and military time.
Also fractions and proportions and percentages. They were all really simple though, just know how to ad, multiply, simplify and divide fractions, and write them as a proportion.
the grammar and reading was discouraging sometimes because sometimes there were more than one answer that would fit, or none that seemed quite right and you just have to pick the best one.
I agree with Emmasma. It was pretty simple math, the part I had the most trouble with was the household conversion...ounces, pints etc...kind of silly, but I couldn't remember how many ounces were in a gallon. Know your ratios and your fractions. And ditto on what she said on the reading comprehension. good luck!
The household conversions may kill me. I go take the test today and I am fine at math and reading for sure--but the questions that pertain to conversions are not my forte. I can barely remember the gallon man much less throwing ounces in there.
What's funny is my school didn't give a study guide or ANY information on the HESI. They just said "pick a day to take it, see you there". (San Jac South- Houston) Hopefully I do well.
I'll let you know how it goes if anyone is interested! I know there is a lot of interest in exactly what is on the HESI and San Jac. specifically. Good Job BTW
I made these flashcards to study. The first 2 links are to my conversions flashcards, and the 3rd is to all my hesi addmissions test study cards.
Good Luck!

I got a 93.66, hopefully they round lol!
96- Math
96- Grammar
89- Reading comprehension (totally thought I aced this one, the questions can be really opinionated)
860- Critical Thinking (These questions also seemed subject to personal interpretation- but there is so much I don't know about being a nurse yet that they must know something I don't)
Needless to say I am extremely excited- I did not study at all except for looking at some conversions right before the exam which helped BIG TIME. There are 128 oz in a gallon. Never forget this.
Glad to know I might be able to actually do this

Well, I took my Hesi test today and.....I got a 94%. We only had to take the math and reading comprehension parts though. I'm still happy.
