Whether it's psych, corrections, the ER, or Rehab, so many of us have seen HUMAN BEINGS being put through the proverbial wringer over marijuana. Even if it's just a comment here and there, it needs to be known that peoples lives are being ruined over something that is completely legal in other parts of the world with no consequences other than a boosted economy.
What would it take to have a someone look into TNPAP? Health and Human services made a recommendation in the middle of last year to move marijuana from a Schedule I drug to a Schedule III, indicating it's less likely to cause drug dependence. Since then, the DEA has been slow to reschedule the plant, but since nursing falls under the umbrella of Health and Human Services, and it's evidence-based, there's no reason for there to be FAR less tolerance of THC than any other drug out there (see lab cut-off levels for reference). I think this will eventually end up being a lawsuit, but in the meantime hundreds of lives in the medical field are being ruined over CBD oils. What is our recourse in this situation where we become victims of bureaucracy?
