Too low of gpa to get in?

Published

Hello everyone it's jamjams here and this time I am looking for a nursing program again. I am very nervous because I just graduate with my bs in public health and I wanted to apply to a nursing school and get in. Aside from that I wanted to see if anyone can help me probably have some hope. The problem is that I graduated with a 2.3 gpa In my institution but my overall gpa is 2.7 idk if this is good enough to get me into a program but I really don't know who to talk to. All know is that I want to get into nursing and I want to be a nurse some day but my gpa is holding me back. I know that I can be a great nurse, I already work in the hospital and as bad as this seems I jealous the nurses everyday I think that maybe that will be me . All nurses please help ? Thank you in advance

Well first you need to look at the minimum gpa required for the program your going to be applying to. I'd definitely apply to more than one because that will increase probability of being accepted. Also, while gpa is important, it most certainly isn't the only factor. You need to do well on the entrance exam and you need to do well in the science courses. Best of luck to you!
